The EAA AirVenture Oshkosh annual event brings aviators and aerospace enthusiasts together from around the world. Over 608 thousand people attended AirVenture 2021 generating $170 million economic impact for the five counties in the Oshkosh, Wisconsin area. More than 10,000 aircraft flew into the Oshkosh Wittman Regional Airport and other airports in the area to attend the show. While open, the Oshkosh airport averaged 116 takeoffs and landings per hour making the KOSH Control Tower the busiest in the world the week of the show.

AirVenture is hosted by the Experimental Aircraft Association. They have literally everything from space ship prototypes to experimental flying cars. This video documents our journey through EAA AirVenture 2021. We walk you though the Antiques and Classics, Warbirds, Boeing Square and of course the awesome experimental aircraft.

Those of you not involved in Aviation may not recognize the name Paul Poberezny, but if you ever travel by air the chances are he influenced those that have piloted the aircraft you were in. He certainly changed our life. Paul thought us that anything is possible if you follow your passion.

Paul Poberezny founded the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) in 1953. He is widely considered the first person to have universalized the tradition of aircraft homebuilding. Through his work founding EAA and the organization's annual AirVenture convention, he had the reputation of helping inspire millions of people to get involved in grassroots aviation.

Paul passed away on August 22, 2013. We were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet with Paul and see him speaking at EAA AirVenture. We were going through our video archive and came across this 2008 presentation from Paul explaining how EAA was founded that we thought we would share with you as a Throwback Thursday video.

The legacy that Paul Poberezny created lives on. Year after year EAA AirVenture continues to call aviation enthusiasts from around the world to make their trek to a small airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. During the week of AirVenture, the small KOSH airfield is the busiest airport in the world.

We are building our web presence and thought we would jump back to 2017 and post a video of the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh static displays. This episode gives you a taste of the things you will see when visiting AirVenture.

The video starts with a Scottish band playing the The Star Spangled Banner. We then fly through the Cessna Aircraft Display where we see the new 172’s, KingAir 250, and the Cessna Gear Store.

We then cruse over to the Pilatus Aircraft Display and lay our eyes on the beautifully painted PC-12. Of course no visit to AirVenture is complete without stopping by Cirrus and check out their SR-22. The next stop on the journey was Aeroshell Square where there was a plethora of military aircraft. They even had a Porteus Drone! Next stop was the Honda Jet Display. It has been fun watching them go from concept through the steps to get certified. Next stop was the Classics Aircraft parking. There are too many aircraft there to mention! Finally, no grounds tour is complete without visiting the Warbirds and seeing the P51 Mustang! We were lucky to catch a couple of them taxing. They sound awesome!
